The Durandisse Foundation is a community-born beacon of hope and resilience, established in July 2020 in the heart of Carrefour Durandisse, Léogâne, Haiti. Named for the very soil and people it serves, our foundation is built on a profound commitment to addressing two of the most pressing challenges facing our homeland: the relentless degradation of our environment and the urgent need to uplift our most vulnerable.

Our work is rooted in a dual mission. We take direct, on-the-ground action to fight against environmental erosion through sustainable agriculture, strategic reforestation, and land preservation projects. We believe that protecting the earth is the first step toward securing a community's future. Concurrently, we dedicate ourselves to empowering women and children, providing essential support through educational initiatives, healthcare access, and programs that foster economic independence and social well-being.

By intertwining ecological restoration with human development, The Durandisse Foundation strives to build a more stable, prosperous, and sustainable future for Carrefour Durandisse and the wider Léogâne region, from the ground up.
